So Over My Head (A Charmed Life #3)
By Jenny B. Jones

Description:
Bella’s life is a circus…without the chic clown shoes.

When the Fritz Family Carnival makes its annual appearance in Truman, Bella’s keen reporter instincts tell her the bright lights hide more than they reveal. Her suspicions are confirmed when one of the stars is murdered. Though the police make an immediate arrest, Bella doubts this case is quite that simple.
She needs her crime-solving new boyfriend Luke more than ever, but his ex has moved back to town, giving Bella some murderous thoughts of her own. Then again, there’s no time for a relationship crisis when Bella’s doing her best to derail her father’s wedding while keeping the peace at home and staying one step ahead of the mysterious murderer.
Is God sending her a message in all of this madness?  Can Bella stop a wedding, win back the boy, and catch a killer before he strikes again?

My Rating: ✰✰✰✰✰ (5 out of 5 stars)

My Thoughts:

As I finished A Charmed Life #2, I thought “Jenny B. Jones cannot write another book just as good as these two” which were amazing, I might add. I was proven wrong. “So Over My Head” is a funny, heartfelt, mystery-loving, third-and-last-omg-I’m-sad kind of book.
Bella is in for trouble again. The circus is in town and the mystery begins when Bella discovers a murdered woman. Freaked out yet too curious (and downright snoopy) to control herself, she starts on the hunt to find the killer.
Also, Bella’s family is going through some issues with stepfather Jake becoming a wrestling celebrity overnight and her Dad marrying a woman she has suspicions about. Bella is also having some trust issues with boyfriend (finally!!) Luke Sullivan. I was a little upset that they were fighting almost the entire book, but in the end I realized it was more realistic. Bella has trust-issues that aren’t going to just disappear overnight.
I loved how Luke is always saving her! I don’t know, I think I may have a thing for book-Luke’s. Is that weird? New friend Ruthie just made me laugh so much! I literally was snorting. I got a lot of weird looks from my sister.
In this wonderful conclusion of A Charmed Life, I found myself wanting to pick up the books and read them over. They are the kind of books that make you all fuzzy and warm and happy inside. And who doesn’t want to feel fuzzy and warm and happy? 😉
