Introducing…Trailer Tuesday!
This is where I share some book, movie, or tv show trailers that interest me…and hear what all of you are looking forward to seeing/reading!
I have to admit, I am a tv junkie. Especially when it comes to cop shows. Some of my favorite shows include Psych, Chicago PD, Chicago Fire, Chuck, Covert Affairs, Rookie Blue, Bones, Hawaii Five-0…and more. I love watching trailers for new and upcoming series!
Who doesn’t love going to the movie theaters? Except, well…one of my sisters. I think she’s crazy. If I had a choice of going to the theaters or a picnic, it would be the movies. What would you guys pick? This might be strange, but one of my favorite parts about going to the movies is watching the trailers.
The first time I watched a book trailer, I was amazed. Whoever thought of this genius plan? Ever since that first one, I am always watching them and adding more books to my TBR (to-be-read) list. I have so many books on my TBR list, it’s not even funny.
Here are some interesting trailers I saw this week!
Movie-
I love book-to-movie adaptions. I heard of this book when it first came out and was really interested. As time went on it went further and further down my TBR list until I eventually forgot about it. When I saw this trailer for the movie the other day, it renewed my interest to read the book! Looks pretty good, right? Plus, Chloë Grace Moretz is a talent. I have a feeling this one might be a tearjerker…;) Coming to theaters August 22.
Book-
Beowulf by Ronie Kendig
After being introduced to Timbrel Hogan and Tony “Candyman” VanAllen in Talon, I am beyond excited to read the next installment in the series, Beowulf. This trailer makes me even more excited! Timbrel is such a complex character–I am really curious to find out more about her story. And her and Candyman have a lot of chemistry. I really really really really hope I can read it soon. Does my TBR list ever get smaller?!
Thanks for reading and please leave a comment below!

I’m curious about If I Stay and wondering about reading the book prior to seeing the film… Maybe I’ll snag a copy next time I see it on a store shelf. As for Beowulf, I cannot wait to read that one. It looks fantastic and of course, like you say, I agree, I’m eager to read more about this chemistry overrun pair. They’re cute together. 😉
…as for upcoming TV shows, I’m interested in Forever and Stalker, both are crime dramas, and I’m not surprised. Me and my mysteries. 😀

Hi, Rissi!
I personally like reading the book before the movie because in my opinion the book is usually better than the movie…I just don’t know when I’ll have the time! 🙁 If you read the book please let me know how you like it! Yay! Glad to know you’re a Breed Apart series fan. I love Ronie Kendig. 🙂
Oh my goodness. I love crime dramas too and Stalker was on my list for next week. Lol! Doesn’t it look too good? I’ve been a fan of Maggie Q since Nikita and am really excited for her new show. I saw the trailer for Forever and was pretty interested in that one as well. Mainly because of Ioan Gruffudd…;)
Thanks for stopping by!!

Wow! Just watched the If I Stay trailer, and it looks so good. I just checked out my local library and put a hold on the book, but I’m #8 in line to get it, so it looks like I’m going to have to wait awhile!

Hi Cassie!
Doesn’t it?! I have three sisters with all different tastes in movies, but we’re all looking forward to this one. 🙂 I’m not sure when I’ll have the time to read it but I have it on hold at my library too! I think we’re in the same boat because it looks like I’m way down the waiting list as well… 🙂 When you read it let me know how you like it!
Thanks for stopping by!! 🙂
