There’s something so satisfying about writing/blogging in a comfy spot while listening to the rain patter on the windows. Some might think it depressing (my aunt for example who thought my “Coffee, Books, and Rain” shirt I’m currently wearing was just that…LOL) but those are seriously three of my favorite things. Do you agree? Are coffee, books, rain, and writing some of your happy things or the total opposite? ๐
I haven’t participated in a Top Ten Tuesday post from the lovely ladies over atย The Broke and the Bookish in a while.ย Which is a real shame since they are SO much fun! I noticed this week’s theme was “Top Ten Quotes I Loved From Books I Read In The Past Year Or So” and decided to join in thinking this one was going to be easy peasy (I love keepingย fave book quotes). On the contrary, this list was NOT easy to put together. I have just too many I want to share! After a few days of putting it off, I finally just randomly took ten from my list of twenty some quotes…hehe. I did add a little extra one down there, ’cause they’re all pretty serious and I wanted to end off on a fun note. ANYways, hope you enjoy this list of favorites book quotes from this past year! And hope you all are having a fantabulous November so far. ๐

And here is a quote that just made me laugh out loud! Thought I would end on a funny note. ๐
And that’s it! I’m so sad I couldn’t do more. ๐ But you know what would be awesome?! If you guys shared some of your favorite book quotes!!! Comment below! Or if you already made a “Top Ten” list on your blog, leave your link and I’ll definitely check it out. ๐ Thanks so much for reading. โฅ

Ah, Jessica Dotta!!!! That series is possibly my absolute favorite series. SO good! And I enjoyed your other quotes, too. Especially the extra one.. it was funny! I keep hearing great things about This Quiet Sky — I must read it soon!
I didn’t participate in TTT this week, but I did do a TTT with quotes on a freebie week! You can see it here: https://thegreenmockingbird.wordpress.com/2015/09/15/top-ten-tuesday-top-11-book-quotes/

Hi Courtney. Yay! *high five* Isn’t is just the best series ever?! Definitely probably my favorite as well. That ending was heartbreaking though. Thanks! Yep, I would totally recommend ‘This Quiet Sky’…it’s also sad but Joanne Bischof is a talent.
Awesome! Headed to your blog now. ๐ Thanks so much for stopping by my little site!

The ending WAS heartbreaking. And Isaac! He was totally unexpected.
I’ve read “Though my Heart is Torn” by Joanne and liked it. It was easy to read — it flowed smoothly.

Totally! I almost still can’t think of Isaac…it’s too depressing. I cried for like a whole day. When I finished the series my dad tiptoed around me ’cause he thought I was going crazy for crying like a baby over a book! LOL.
I read that one as well! It was a while back though, but I remember I enjoyed it. Agreed- love Joanne’s writing style! ๐

This post is EPIC, Bekah. Love how you put it together and ahhh, yes to that fourth quote, of course. ๐ Also Joanne’s, Mary’s and those by Kasie are awesome. Gotta’ love Kasie’s writing (I started one of her contemporaries – “On the Fence,” and though I had to put it aside, it’s so cute!)
Glad you joined in this week’s TTT! ๐
Bekah says
Awww, thanks Rissi!! Loved your TTT as well. Yeah, noticed we both featured that Shades of Doon quote! *high five* I’m currently reading that book and am right on that part– it just about melted my heart. Lol! I’ve only ever read ‘Pivot Point’ by Kasie West, but I’ve heard ‘On the Fence’ is a good one. ๐ I didn’t love ‘Pivot Point’, but I do agree her writing style is on point! ๐
Thanks so much again! Hope your having a great (snowy) weekend. ๐

This post is fantastic! I want to print it out and hang it up! I love Dekker, Weber, and the Doon quotes too! Great job! I’ve always wanted to keep track of my favorite quotes. I think I will make that of my new blogging goals! Thanks for the inspiration!

Thanks so much Tami! I had a lot of fun putting it together. ๐ Me too, I love quotes (I guess it’s one of those bookish things…lol) and just recently started keeping track of some of my favorites. It’s pretty fun! Thank YOU for stopping by my blog!
