The Tag of Happiness

March 27, 2016 by Bekah 5 Comments

The Tag of Happiness on willbakeforbooks.comHappy Easter Sunday! What a wonderful holiday — spring flowers sprout up, warm sunshine, fun times with family, and most importantly, there is the reminder of what Jesus did for us on the cross and the miraculous way he saved us. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Never does John 3:16 hit me harder than on this day of celebrating His resurrection. I’m so grateful to Him, and today I’m feeling especially HAPPY! Which made me think about this lovely tag that my blogger buddy Sarah from Forever Aspiring Writer invited me to join! If you haven’t visited her blog, you should. She writes fabulous book, movie, and music reviews! Thanks so much to Sarah for tagging me — here I go.

The Tag of Happiness on willbakeforbooks.comSome SONGS that make you happy:
Mostly every song makes me happy–I just love music! Off the top of my head, I choose Oceans by Hillsong United, Purpose by Justin Bieber (my sister said I had no shame for this pick…LOL), NO by Meghan Trainor, and Break Up in a Small Town by Sam Hunt.

The Tag of Happiness on willbakeforbooks.comSome BOOKS that make you happy:
This is impossible! Prepare to be bombarded. The Storm Siren Trilogy by Mary Weber. Divergent by Veronica Roth. Alaskan Courage series by Dani Pettrey. Fireflies in December by Jennifer Erin Valent. The Last Sin Eater by Francine Rivers. Meant to Be Mine by Becky Wade. Future Savior series by Jennifer Hartz. The End of the World by Amy Matayo. Born of Persuasion by Jessica Dotta. River of Time series by Lisa T. Bergren. Mandie series by Lois Gladys Leppard. Elsie Dinsmore by Martha Finley. Anything by Jenny B. Jones…I truly could go on.

The Tag of Happiness on willbakeforbooks.comSome MOVIES that make you happy:
I’m a sucker for rom-coms of the Nicholas Sparks variety (like Safe Haven, pictured above) but I also enjoy pretty much every genre of movie. Some of which are: Cinderella (2015). Pride & Prejudice. Hunger Games. Divergent. Pirates of the Caribbean. Love Comes Softly movies. She’s the Man. The Proposal. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. Bourne movies. The Man from U.N.C.L.E. Mission Impossible movies. The Fast & Furious movies.

The Tag of Happiness on willbakeforbooks.comSome FOODS that make you happy:
ANYTHING SWEET. Haha! Especially if it’s chocolate or cheesecake. Also a good ole burger and fries hits the spot for me.

The Tag of Happiness on willbakeforbooks.comSome WORDS that make you happy:
Coffee. Dessert. French Fries. Books. Candy. Sisters. Chocolate. Family. Baking. (All these words are instant mood-lifters…but I think I mistook it for the food section XD)

The Tag of Happiness on willbakeforbooks.comSome SCENTS that make you happy:
My sister Serena just bought me this mango mimosa candle that I adore. Downy. Febreze. My mom’s perfume (I don’t wanna sound like a creeper, but my mom always smells amazing LOL).

The Tag of Happiness on willbakeforbooks.comSome RANDOM things that make you happy:
Long bike rides with my mom or sister Natasha. Sister dates with my younger sister Mia, where we inhale Chick-fil-a or Potbelly, watch a movie, and buy lipstick. Cooking with my dad. Road trips with plenty of reading material. Visiting my best friend and her adorable baby. Fangirling about books, movies, and tv shows with my blogger buddies. Singing praise and worship with a community. Baking cupcakes. Getting a large Dunkin Donuts iced coffee from 3-6pm. Watching a movie on the big screen with my parents. Tasty’s Facebook page.

Aw, this is SO MUCH FUN! Loved reading through this, Bekah. Yay for amazing music (how did I not know about “No” from Meghan!? Clearly I’m behind the times). Three cheers for, pretty much your entire movie list, oh and so many amazing books on your list too! Love it.

Thanks a bunch for the tag. How fun! I may be late in putting getting something together, but most likely, I will get it together… soonish. πŸ˜‰

THANKS, Rissi!!! Haha, well “No” is pretty new so you’re not behind at all. πŸ˜‰ It’s such a FUN song…the first one on my car playlist now! There’s something about it that reminds me of the music of my childhood (kinda girl band-ish). High five to shared favorites! Really, no pressure on the tag. But if/when you decide to put it together, it’s going to be a fun one to read. πŸ™‚
