2015 Releases I Meant To Get To But Didn’t

January 12, 2016 by Bekah 10 Comments

2015 Releases I Meant To Get To But Didn't | Top Ten Tuesday | www.willbakeforbooks.comUsually, I begin the titles of these with “Top Ten.” But I couldn’t for today’s topic that the ladies over at The Broke and the Bookish picked for this week, because I have a ridiculous amount of 2015 new releases I meant to get to and didn’t! I managed to knock it down to twelve, but let me tell you – this list started at thirty. So, without furthur ado. πŸ˜‰

2015 Releases I Meant To Get To But Didn't | Top Ten Tuesday | www.willbakeforbooks.com1. A Love Like Ours by Becky Wade – This was one of my most-anticipated 2015 releases, because I adored Meant to Be Mine (the second book) and one of the quotes from my book review made it on the back cover of this pretty! I pre-ordered it on Amazon, but when I received it timing was terrible because I had other review copies to finish.

2. The Wonder of You by Susan May Warren –Β  I love the Christiansen family so this is top priority!
Goodreads | Amazon
3. Pretty Wanted by Elisa Ludwig – Another continuation of a series. I read the first and second (enjoyed but didn’t love) and this is the last and final book in this trilogy. I really should just finish it!

Goodreads | Amazon
5. The Sound of Diamonds by Rachelle Rea – I heard great things about this debut author around the interweb. I need to get it already!
Goodreads | Amazon
6. A Wicked Thing by Rhiannon Thomas – Fairytale-esque books are the BEST!! This Sleeping Beauty spinoff sounds like a winner and I’ve been wanting to grab it for so long.

2015 Releases I Meant To Get To But Didn't | Top Ten Tuesday | www.willbakeforbooks.com7. Hostage Run by Andrew Klavan – I read Mindwar (#1) and enjoyed the fast paced action. Been meaning to read this second book!
Goodreads | Amazon
8. All Fall Down by Ally Carter – Ally Carter’s Gallagher Girls and Heist Society series are so darn good. Can’t believe I haven’t checked out her latest series!
Goodreads | Amazon
9. From the Start by Melissa Tagg – Melissa Tagg is one of those authors I hear about ALL the time, especially from my fellow book bloggers. I still cannot believe that I haven’t read anything from her…especially this book!!
Goodreads | Amazon

2015 Releases I Meant To Get To But Didn't | Top Ten Tuesday | www.willbakeforbooks.com10. The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins – This is a bestseller, and while I usually don’t read books like this (I tend to stick to YA and ChrisFic) this one sounds AMAZING! Must. Read.
Goodreads | Amazon
11. Married ’til Monday by Denise Hunter – Love, love, love, love Denise Hunter’s Chapel Springs series!!!! Why haven’t I read the latest installment yet? Because I stink. πŸ˜›
Goodreads | Amazon
12. Invaded by Melissa Landers – Another sequel of a book that I really loved!! Alienated was so great. I gotta read this second novel ASAP.
Goodreads | Amazon

So, those are my top 2015 book releases I meant to read but didn’t! Your turn – what are yours? Thanks for visiting Will Bake for Books! β™₯

That’s a nice selection of books you have there! Do you think you’ll read them in 2016? πŸ™‚ I have so many books I’d like to read that I don’t think I could possibly narrow them down to 12! :/ BTW, I’ve sent you a friend request on Goodreads. πŸ˜€ I only just joined, but if you see my to-read list, you’ll get the idea! XD

Thanks, Sarah!! Haha, great question…I sure hope so! But knowing me, maybe I’ll get to half of them. *shrugs* Right?! It’s SO hard!! I was like, this is impossible! πŸ˜‰ So cool! I accepted your Goodreads friend request as soon as I saw it. I’ll have to check out your TBR – I’d love to see what’s on it. Thanks (as always) for visiting my blog. I really appreciate all the support! πŸ™‚ Heading over to your blog now. πŸ™‚

Nice list, Bekah! I didn’t get to “From the Start” in 2015, either, thought I wanted to. I’m curious about “Red Queen” and the hype it gets, but I’ve not read it. Maybe I’ll give it a read in 2016.

These all look like great releases, Bekah. Some I did read and loved, others are among books I still want to read as well. We’ll both have to try, and get to them in 2016. 😊😊😊

Cool, Rissi! Glad you got to read some of these. I saw your Goodreads year “recap” and was super impressed by all the great reads you got to last year!! Yes, definitely. Fingers crossed that we knock those TBR’s out of the park this year. πŸ˜‰ Thanks for stopping by.
