Happy almost 2017, friends! Today marks the second to last day of another year. Which is crazy because it seems like just yesterday when we celebrated New Year’s last. But alas, time waits for no one. I’m just excited to have some bubbly and spend some time with my family tomorrow. What are your New Year’s Eve plans?
I’ve never done this before, but I figured now was a great time to start. I had to share what I thought were the best books of 2016, because there’s so many books that deserve recognition this year! I read an incredible amount of five star reads. Woohoo for the book community!
While there is most likely a great many I’m missing on this list, here are some of the most memorable, stick-with-you kind of books I’ve read in 2016. Each title has the link to my review, if applicable.
Best Books of 2016

2. Intermission by Serena Chase || Another stunning YA read! I adored this coming of age love story with a musical twist. Goodreads
3. Forever Doon by Carey Corp & Lorie Langdon || Ahhhhhh! Can’t believe this magical series ended this year. A little sad, a lot wonderful. #MacCraeisBae Goodreads

Is this really your first ‘best of’ list?? Aren’t they fun to put together?!?
Looks like we only have one in common this year, Becky Wade’s, although I did read and enjoy a few others on your list!

Oh my gosh! These all look so good! I don’t know what to read first! X’D There are seriously sooo many books that I want to read that it’s overwhelming; so much so that I deleted most of them from my to-read list on goodreads just because it felt pressuring, haha! I hope the books you read this year are just as impressive! 🙂
Bekah says
Yes, they all were amazing IMO!
Oh, I can definitely understand being overwhelmed by all the choices! LOL, that’s something I would do. Except I think it’s too late for me to start deleting from my Goodreads list, since I’m pretty sure my TBR is in the hundreds. *groan*
I think 2017 is going to be a great year for books…then again, I do say that every year. 😉
Thanks for coming by, Sarah!
